ADVOCACY : TULONG, SULONG : BANGON GABALDON

Gabaldon is a third class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. The town is tucked between Sierra Madre mountains making this place prone to landslide and flashfloods.

Late last year, Northern Philippines was hit by the Typhoon Lando with international name Koppu. It brought heavy rains and powerful winds that causes landslides and flashfloods that killed 58 people and injured 82 people in the municipality of Gabaldon. Approximately 1.24 million people were directly affected by this natural calamity and 113,584 people were transfered to evacuation centers.
